Our new online tool ‘Insight’ is a means of parents and carers having access to live information about their child’s attendance and progress in school. All parents/carers have an individual user name and password and these were given out during the Target Setting event on Thursday 1st November. If you have not received your start up letter you can collect it from Student Support in school. Please bring some photo ID with you to collect your letter.  

Parents/carers can view their child’s progress in school and see: ·      
their attendance for the day and/or week        
their attendance over longer periods of time       
any lateness in arriving at school or to any lesson
their achievements, awards and commendations 
their examination timetables
SEN data and other relevant information
the opportunity to provide information to the school, such as a change of address or reasons for the child’s absence from school

We are also looking at including the following in the future: ·       
grades and levels from Assessment Manager
Teacher targets set and progress made to date 
 homework with dates set for return
examination results  

Parents/carers who have used the system so far have given very positive feedback and we look forward to working with staff and all stakeholders to develop the system further.
