Ofsted Update
We are delighted that the school has been removed from Special Measures; the latest Ofsted Report states:-
"Coleshill is now a satisfactory and rapidly improving school".
The Overall Effectiveness judgement for the school at this moment is Satisfactory (3) overall but the school's capacity for sustained improvement has been graded as Good (2). Particularly pleasing are the number of "Good" grades; 9 of the 27 individual grades are Good (2) - they are for:
Capacity to improve
Pupils' attainment
The extent to which pupils feel safe
Pupils' behaviour
Pupils' skills contribute to workplace and economic well-being
Pupils' attendance
Leadership and Management (including of Learning and Teaching)
Effectiveness of the Governing Body
Effectiveness of Safeguarding procedures
The Post-Ofsted Targets were agreed between the Inspection Team and the school; achieving these targets will take us to an overall judgement of Good and then onto Outstanding within the next 2-3 years.
