Educational Social Work Service

The Warwickshire Education Social Work Service (ESWS) support The Coleshill School in ensuring that all registered pupils of compulsory school age (between 5 and 16), receive a proper full-time education.

The school has a ‘named’ Education Social Work Casework Officer who meets regularly with a senior member of staff to discuss pupils below 80% attendance. The most appropriate course of action is then decided upon as to how to best support the pupil in increasing their rate of attendance.
