School Uniform

Pupils are expected to wear correct school uniform at all times in school and on journeys to and from school. Make-up and nail varnish should not be worn. Training shoes are worn only for PE activities. Outdoor clothing including coats, gloves, hats and scarves should not be worn inside the school buildings.

Many garments may be purchased in stores throughout the area.

However, genuine school badges, ties and items with a school logo can only be purchased from Focus One.:

Jewellery

The only items of jewellery permitted are:-

• A watch
• One pair only of plain stud earrings

The following are not allowed:-

• Extreme hairstyles (cut & colour) are not permitted on any occasion. Examples include closely shaved and decoratively shaved; overly vivid or two tone colouring, extreme highlights.
• Body piercing of any kind is not permitted.
• More than one plain stud earring per ear
• Skirts that are made of lycra (skirts must be knee length)
• Jeans or leggings of any kind
• Boots of any kind
• Trousers or skirts that are excessively long, short, narrow/wide, deliberately torn or with a low waist
• Vest tops, cardigans, hooded jackets, sweatshirts..
